Are princess cruises a good company to work for?
I worked for Princess for 3 years as a nurse. Its as good a cruise line as any to work on. As a junior purser the life is quite good, you’ll share a cabin, you do work every single day which some people find very difficult to cope with. being a tour escort is good, getting to participate in tours when the passengers have paid lots of money for them. As far as I know the wages as a junior purser aren’t amazing but it is tax free and your room and board are free. You’ll eat in the officers mess and have full deck priveledges so its good that way. If you’re having a midlife crisis its a good place to have one, make lots of new friends, experience lots of new things. And in the pursers dept theres a lot of scope for promotion. Go for it, I bet you’ll not regret it.
