Are they OK? You’re running a risk. Are they legit? No. If you find a website that’s selling prescription drugs without requiring a prescription, it’s almost certainly going to be exporting them into the US from a foreign country. There’s too much oversight with too steep of penalties in the US for a pharmacy to risk this kind of behavior. (Yes, of course it’s been done, but they’ve been caught, usually quickly.) The problem is that importing drugs from a foreign country is illegal. Technically, even those seniors who buy their pills from Canada to save money – which is a big business for Canadian pharmacies – are breaking the law. If you do your homework, you’ll find that many of these online sources will still require a prescription; they’re angle is that they don’t require a prior prescription.
