Medicines given in an inpatient setting are paid for by Medicare. Prescriptions given to outpatients are not covered.

Please refer to your GHI HMO Contract to determine whether your benefit plan includes coverage for prescription drugs. If so, you can obtain medications at any GHI HMO participating pharmacy by simply presenting your GHI HMO member identification card, your medical prescription, and your applicable copay.
