Are prescription glasses included in home and contents insurance?

I think the above is responding to a different question than was askedagain I think. Since this question was asked in the ‘Homeowner Insurance’ section I think the question is are prescription glasses considered personal property under the definition of contents in a homeowners policy and therefore covered in the event of a loss. The to that is YES; Prescription glasses are your personal property and covered under your homeowners policy unless specifically excluded in your policy.
