Are post cards permitted in lieu of mailing letters?
No. The data collection protocol for the 2011 MA & PDP CAHPS Survey will include mailing of a pre-notification letter; two survey mailings with a cover letter, and telephone follow up to non-respondents. Survey vendors will not be permitted to mail post cards in lieu of mailing the pre-notification letter or the survey cover letters.
