Are Police required to conduct regular audits following a premises becoming certified?
A Due to conditions that may be attached to funding Raid-control within a particular Police area, it is not the intention to impose an auditing regime on adoptive forces following the certification of premises that have achieved Raid-control minimum standards. Raid-control consider that some form of auditing process should be in place to maintain the standards set at the time of certification, however, it will be for the adoptive force to decide. Where it comes to notice that a certificated premises has fallen below the required minimum standards, the owner should be informed that unless the minimum standards are maintained, certification will be removed.
