you can’t download from play.com… but as a general rule, you will be able to put any music onto your ipod, as itunes converts from WMA to AAC and MP3 to AAC (optional) which is the ipod format. however if your files are in any other format, or you need to convert video files, you will need a file converter http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/… you can download a converter free from softpedia.com. there are no viruses on it or bugs if you’re worried about it. i use it all the time.
