Are plasma Tvs good?
I would say “yes”. Check out these aspects. In some cases LED TV’s are better but in other plasma is good. Here is a comparison: 1)PICTURE QUALITY: (a) CONTRAST/ BLACK LEVELS::With the new LED back lighting there have been tremendous improvements in black levels and contrast. Plasma achieved very high contrast levels a good while ago. Plasma displays achieve such impressive black levels by using internal algorithms to block the power to particular pixels in order to render a pixel “dark” or black. While this can limit a plasma television’s gray scaling ADVANTAGE: PLASMA (b) COLOR ACCURACY::When it comes to color, it is now coming down more to preference and room conditions than technological factors. ADVANTAGE: Even (c) VIEWING ANGLE::This is one of the biggest areas of improvement for LED TVs aside from Black levels.Plasma TV technology has always been perfect in this area due to each individual pixel being lit. Both an LCD and Plasma tv have pro’s and con’s Argos website have some helpful info about both kinds of tv we bought a Plasma tv and to be honest I can’t remember all of the pro’s but one I do remember was for a longer lasting tv Plasma is better than LCD so its a good choice from my experience made all the better by its price
