Are Pkolino products Eco-Friendly?
At Pkolino we understand the miscommunications and misperceptions that are connected to social and environmental responsible (or green) company claims. That is why we feel it is important to clearly state what we do and what we stand for in this regard. Our efforts to be resource conscious and sustainable are part of our Playfully Smart design philosophy. Our Multi-functionality and durability means that products are going to be around longer. For example, traditional Toddler Beds have a very short life-cycle. Considering that, we designed a Toddler Bed that converts to a chair when the child out-grows it; that way it can be around longer. Additionally, our products are designed to efficiently use materials and minimize waste. We use abundant (non-exotic) and managed wood resources.
