Are pizzas always made from mozzarella cheese?
Mozzarella cheese is just a topping. Most restaurants use mozzarella. I’ve see other toppings and cheeseless pizzas as well. There was this one Italian restaurant that made an amazing gorganzola pizza… to die for. I make my pizzas at home with whole wheat crust. I make my own Italian sauce too. But for something a little different, I’ll make a Mexican pizza, with salsa as the base on top of the crust, the any number of toppings, from chicken, or just a veggie pizza with peppers, onions and broccoli, with shredded Mexican cheese blend on top. It’s wonderful. Sometimes I’ll mix a sharp cheese with the Mozzarella for a little different flavor.
