Are pipes from smoke shops restricted by USA/French customs officials?
i believe as long as pipes aren’t illegal where she will be flying out of and as long as they aren’t illegal in the state she is returning to she will be fine. My girlfriend and I fly back and forth from Oregon to Louisiana all the time and we bring back all kinds of pieces we find in Oregon because they are so cheap there and we’ve never had any problems. They even put a sticker on our bags once saying they went through it and they left the pipes and bongs. Just make sure she does NOT smoke anything at all out of them just to avoid a hassle (even tobacco, they might get alarmed and think it’s something else she’s been smoking). We even leave the price tags on them just to show we’ve never used them before the flight. I would check with customs or someone just to make sure. Maybe anonymously call the airport and ask them.
