Are pioneer plant species on limestone spoils calcicoles?
Research Centre in Plant Ecology, S S R J Arts and Science College, Khammam- 507 003 (A.P) India ABSTRACT Aqueous extracts of root, stem and leaves of Digera muricata inhibited the growth of Rhizobium under laboratory conditions. The root extracts were more active than the leaf and stem extracts. The shoot leachates were more active after 12 h of soaking.
