Philippine Airports The Philippines has 10 international and 72 domestic airports all over the country. Most of the major and popular provinces have domestic portals, some are being developed to meet passengers’ satisfaction. There are four major international airports located in Manila, Cebu, Subic Bay in Zambales, and Angeles City in Pampanga. Air termnials in Davao, Zamboanga, and General Santos City in South Cotabato are considered secondary international airports. Such airports can cater international flights but are not regarded as primary international gateways. Before entering any terminal, a passenger should have the ticket prepared and at least one valid identification card. Greeters are not allowed to enter airports for security purposes. Some terminals have designated waiting areas outside the terminal. Free baggage allowance varies in different airlines. An average of 20 to 40 kilograms is allowed for international flights, while domestic flights allow 10 to 20 kilograms.
