Are Phantom Screens fire proof?

0

Unfortunately our Phantom Screens do not meet fire safety standards as stainless steel mesh will not work in our retractable products. Although Phantom Screens are not recognised as meeting Australia’s bush fire regulations, when our screens are retracted into their protective housing, meaning the mesh is completely concealed within the unit, they pose little threat as a point of ignition. All components are aluminium and our mesh is PVC coated fibreglass which simply melts when heated, it does not ignite.
