Are pet frogs good pets?
I have Red Eyed Tree frogs Three of them They make great pets and are easy to keep However… they dont live long in captivity Its hard to reproduce their natural environment in a tank. And most times they dont like to be held. Every time i hold mine they pee on my hand. That is when i can finally grab one. If youre not careful they will jump out of your hand….and believe me theyre easier to grab in their tank then when theyre on the floor trying to escape.
ok frogs deserve living in the wild but if you want Pet frogs get a big cage like 5′ by 3′ cage and many of the frogs so they don’t get bored and they have company. Al;so make sure theres a small pond in their like about 1′ long and 3 inches deep. Make sure its wild like with trees branches rocks and mud on the ground. Good luck just don’t get the Gecko. Total cost about: 90 dollars to 150 dollars or in Australia 45 pounds to 75 pounds plus a little more money depends on store. Go to Petland discounts search it on the internet they have super low prices.
Well, I’m not sure if I should answer this, because I might be a bit biased, because, of course, I AM a pet frog. I didn’t particularly enjoy being captured you know… Because the other animals in my tank told me that a horrible girl with headgear was going to kill me. They also told me I was fat. I think a better idea would be to get a cat and then put it out in the rain by some boxes, just like Holly.
