Are people with high metabolism generally more intelligent than people with lower metabolism?
I don’t think the two are related, really. If anything, I’d submit there’s a slight *Indirect* thing or two that would suggest the opposite: –That people with high metabolisms *might* be too “hyper” or busy doing things to pause and think, and –That folks with higher metabolisms might get less sleep, which has been shown to interfere with learning and long-term memory. Insects don’t sleep and generally don’t learn things *at all* because their brains never get to do any serious updating for it.
