Are people still swapping their number plates before entering the Congestion Charge zone?
The problem of swapping, cloning and the tampering of number plates remains of concern to TfL and other traffic and parking enforcement agencies including the Police. To support enforcement action TfL provides data on reported incidences of number plate tampering to the Police and participates in regular and targeted multi agency ¿filter¿ operations.
