Are people in the developed world less intelligent (generally) than those that are in less developed areas?

I have travelled in several third world countries. From my experience with different people and culture, I always told myself that strong traditions made for a strong intellect. I have talked to children no older than 12 and I was amazed by their thoughts and ideas. You asked if they had the resources if they would achieve something. Most definitely in my opinion. They would achieve their goals because it would not be for their needs per say, but more so for their family and people. If the west would only grow back some traditions and values…would they understand their own capacities. Well I am not here to judge but people in the 3rd world are survivors without all our technologies!
