They are both and just because they are Caucasian does not mean that they are not Hispanos or “Hispanic”, I’ll blow your mind even further by proving to you that they ARE Latinos as well because they speak a Latin language, they are part of the Latin union (which happens to be based in France of all places), check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_Union The U.S. seems to be the only country that is confused on this matter. Being Hispanic means that you have at least some, if not 100%, heritage from the Roman named province, Hispania. The full blooded Indigenous people of America do not refer to themselves as Hispanic because they do not have any heritage from Spain and many do not even speak Spanish. One should not confuse people who have been Hispanicized with people who are Hispanic. The majority of the people in Latin America, however do have heritage and culturally identify with Latin Europe.
