Are people Extravert or Introvert?
One of the categories in the MBTI is Extraversion and Introversion. People who are predominantly Extravert get their energy from stimulation in the external world, talking to people, doing things, being active. Introverts get their energy from their inner world. They often prefer to work in peace and quiet, to think things through, or to sit quietly on their own in their own space. Once you know whether a customer or member of staff is an Extravert or Introvert then you can adapt to their style. For instance, an Extravert may want to talk through with you your products and services. An Extravert may need people to bounce ideas off at work. An Extravert may like to brainstorm ideas in a meeting or have lots of stimulation on a weekend.
