Are Pearly Penile Papules a Type of STD?
Many men become quite alarmed when they find tiny pus filled bumps on their penis. They worry they may have developed an STD. However, there is a very common condition called “pearly penile papules” which involves tiny bumps that are completely harmless from the medical perspective. For emphasis, these bumps are NOT an STD. In fact, some teenage boys who have never had sex develop pearly penile papules.
