Are passport and wallet sized photos the same?
Not necessarily the same thing. ‘Wallet sized’ is a generic term for a small print. The exact dimensions are not defined by any absolute standard, and generally are whatever the maker wants to make. ‘Passport size’ is defined by governmental agencies as the size required for passport applications. The actual size may vary between governments – in the US, the required size is 2 x 2 inches, and there are further requirements on the height of the head and the spacing between the bottom of the picture and the eyes (the government could complicate anything).
