No, part-time students are not eligible for a graduate assistantship. 17. What is the minimum criteria in order to be granted an assistantship? (i.e. GPA, TOEFL, GRE scores etc.) Students who are accepted into the program as full-time students and have applied to the program by the stated deadline will be given full consideration for graduate assistantships. No graduate assistantships are guaranteed, however. Financial assistance is provided on both a first-come and qualifications basis.
