Are paris clothes expensive?
If you’re in Paris you can expect designers like Givenchy, Chanel, Hermes, Lanvin and Louis Vuitton – popular in Europe but nonetheless expensive. You can definitely find pieces for less than $1000 at most French designers – sweaters, shirts, trousers – but not any of the seasonal jackets, suits or exclusive materials. Of course, the French have their equivalent of department stores in Paris where you can find generic brands at affordable prices (which are still much higher in quality than what you Americans wear) Hugo Boss is common in Germany and surprisingly affordable – you can pick up a suit for around $1000, and although they arent the best out there they are great for the price tag – sweaters, shirts and jackets can be anywhere from a few hundred into the thousands. If I was going to Paris I’d break out the American Express – its a fantastic oppurtunity you should consider yourself lucky!
