Are Panasonic cameras good?
Panasonic Lumix cameras are excellent and are competitive (quality-wise) with the Canon brand. With all cameras, how the final results look is a matter of personal preference. A larger processor size coupled with more megapixels will produce higher quality pictures if you’re printing them in sizes larger than 8×10. More megapixels also allows you to take more long zoom pics and do some picture editing using software programs without totally degrading the quality of the image (assuming it was good to start with!). A 10-12 m.p. compact point & shoot should be just fine for the kinds of photo-taking it is intended for. Fun things – not art or commercial photography. Enjoy your new camera. You got a good one!
