Are pampered Chef or Chicago Cultery knives better?
I personally don’t like either one and I have tried out both. You will need to buy a knife sharpener for the home cook an electric one is great. I prefer Wustof, Hinkel, Global,or meisimeister all professional quality knifes. For the serious cook they are worth every penny. Pampred chef for $350 that cost more than my professional knives. Quality not that great and will need to be sharpened shortly after using on a regular bases. Chicago cutlery are nice but the factory sharpening does not last long with regular use and will need to be sharpened. The knives I have my culinary students get are Chef Knife, paring knife, boning knife, filet knife, and utility knife that is all they need everything else is not useful.
