Are OWs honest with their friends and family about the relationship?
• I am incredibly honest with my friends and family about our relationship. But then, I am an incredibly honest person; I find it very difficult to lie about things. I am lucky – my parents and my friends have been supportive, even though they think I’m screwing things up in my life. My mother even joined him and I for dinner a few times. My friends treat us like we are married. My brother really likes him. • Close friends and family all know the situation.. But if we are to meet new people we don’t tell…. • Most of my friends and my co workers know about our relationship. Two of my sisters know. It depends on the person really. MM has only told his brother but is comfortable around my workplace with the knowledge they know we’re in a relationship. • No…..neither one of us has shared with anyone the nature of our “friendship”.
