Are out-of-state students overwhelmed by Virginians?
Although 66% of students are from Virginia, 34% are from out of state, coming from most of the fifty states and over 100 nations across the world. Students at the University have the opportunity to interact with people from many different backgrounds and geographic regions–from Maine to Virginia to Colorado to Peru.
