I find them perfectly acceptable, but that is just my opinion. 🙂 The only problem I have is when somebody calls an opinion based answer “not useful”. If you ask for an opinion, you should accept an answer as an opinion regardless of whether or not you agree.

Yes lots of the questions asked on Answerbag require an “opinion” this for me has been a minor issue because there is really no wrong answer in an opinion but if someones opinion differs from yours they can give you a bad rating, which is not fair. Bottom line is Yes opinion answers are allowed on Answer bag and answer them at your own risk!
