Are opiates in darvocet?

Technically, no. Darvocet contains opioids which are synthesized and interact with your dopamine receptors in the same way which opiates do. Ingesting darvocet will produce a high somewhat similar to that of hydrocodone. However, based on my own experiences, I’ve found that the side-effects (and I don’t mean the good ones) of darvocet are worse than those of say percocet or hydrocodone.
