Are operators of water and/or sewer underground utilities required to be members of One-Call?
• As of July 1, 2009, all operators of water and wastewater utilities are required to provide locates and be members of Kansas One Call. However, because of their Tier 2 status, the excavator may still need to notify the water and wastewater utilities separately if the water and wastewater operator desire to be contacted directly by the excavator.
