Are open fires permitted in the Township?
A. The only open fires permitted in the Township are campfires for recreational purposes. To obtain a campfire permit you can apply Online or in person at the Fire Department administrative office. There is no charge for the permit, however there are strict rules which must be observed. The burning of yard wastes (leaves, twigs, etc.), trash, construction materials or anything other than seasoned fire wood is prohibited. Any violation of the Burning Ordinance may result in the issuance of a citation.
