Some shops offer both repair and replacement service, while some only offer replacement. Once you submit your request and are contacte by the company rep from the shop you choose, you can discuss this matter further. Keep in mind that insurance companies will recommend a windshield be replaced if the driver’s view can be obstructed by the damage in any way or if a crack is longer than six inches.
