Are online courses easier than on-campus courses?
Not usually. They are typically more rigorous. For example, to be successful in an online course one must do considerable reading and writing in the communications area. Further, since the communications are not in real-time, it is expected that each student will reflect deeply or perform research to prepare their written responses. It also helps to possess most or all of the attributes of a successful online learner.
