Are Oleander Seeds poisonous?
YES! Every part of oleander is toxic. Even the smoke from burning oleander is toxic- over the years I’ve heard of several “barbeques gone wrong” stories, where everybody ended up in the hospital for inhaling oleander smoke. However: It’s a beautiful bush, and very robust, so don’t let the toxicity scare you. If you are going to do yardwork, wear gloves. Always always wash your hands after dealing with it. And if you have pets or children, make sure they stay away from it, or at least know that oleander is a poisonous plant.
