Are old upright pianos worth much in the antique trade?
I don’t really know much about piano values, but ultimately, something is worth only as much as someone will pay for it. Piano prices vary greatly depending on the locale and the particular situation. It depends on the make, the technical quality, and condition of the piano, as well as on how the piano case looks. So depending on that, you may be able sell it for a good amount, or you may just need to donate it to someone looking for a practice piano for their kids. I would advise you contact someone locally who can look at it and tell you what it is worth and whether you should bother trying to sell it.
