Are old posts and footing removed prior to installing new posts?

Generally yes. Believe it or not it is standard practice and within AFA (American Fence Association) industry guidelines to cut posts below the grade and re-space the new posts. Cedar Creek will typically remove corner, gate and terminal posts, and depending on locations and quantity of line posts we do our best to remove line posts as well. If otherwise requested, all posts can be completely removed.
