Are nuts labeled raw actually raw?
In my experience not at all. The only nuts you can be sure about are small seeds like sunflower that you can test by sprouting and seeing a green plant form from the seed. If it doesnt grow into a green plant (as most large nuts wont) you just dont know. Try buying from home growers on e-bay, or direct from the groves themselves. Purchase the best you can and be content.
