Are non-subscribers counted as matches?

We believe that finding you high quality matches is our most important task. In order to do that we have established a system where users can be matched before they join as eHarmony members. The most obvious result of this policy is that there are more people available to be matched and we are able to find more matches for you. As you know, as soon as these non-members want to communicate with a match they are required to join the service as members.
