Are non-profit and advocacy organizations eligible to receive grant funding?
Yes, non-profit and non-research organizations are eligible for funding. It is strongly encouraged that non-profit organizations partner with an academic institution or investigator. Active Living Research grants are very competitive and we expect proposals to be high-quality academic research. We also expect results to be published in scientific literature and communicated to policy makers, so it is important that someone on your research team have these skills and experience.
