Are no-load funds a better investment than load funds?
The answer depends primarily on the fund’s performance. The results of an underperforming no-load fund may not be as good as a high-performing load fund, even after the sales charge is deducted. For some mutual funds, you may not be able to find a no-load fund that meets your needs. In general, if two funds have equal performance, you may come out ahead with a no-load fund.
