Are Nintendo Wii Games regionally marked?

The Wii is not technically region locked, however, due to the TV system used in different parts of the world it essentially is. The three tv systems, PAL, NTSC, and SECAM, are not interoperable and the Wii is built to support only one system depending on where you buy it. PAL is used by Europe, some of Asia and Africa, Australia, and parts of South America. NTSC is used by North America, Japan, and parts of South America. SECAM is used by Northern Asia and the rest of Africa.
