Are NexTel Phones The Best Ones Out There?
Sprint/Nextel has poor customer service, poor service and poor selection of phones. I will stay away from them. For mobile service: Verizon is the best followed by Cingular and T-Mobile. Cingular was recently voted as the best coverage and lowest number of dropped calls (JD Power survey). Cingular’s technology (GSM) also has better call quality than Verizon/Sprint (CDMA). For phone devices: Cingular has the best deals and options. Verizon’s phones are expensive and are not ‘cool’. T-Mobile has the cheapest, and lately do carry some cool phones especially if you are looking for PDA type devices (e.g., T-Mobile Dash). For customer service: T-Mobile leads in this area. Price: T-Mobile has the cheapest (best) plans for mobile service and text messaging. Differentiator: T-mobile phones have built in Wireless (802.11g) which none of the other carriers have. I have a wireless internet at home, and have loaded Skype onto my mobile phone. Asa result, when I am home, I am able to make Skype call
