ARE NEWLY ACQUIRED DEPENDENT CHILDREN COVERED?
: Your child or children born after your enrollment/effective date will be effective from the moment of birth and will remain in effect for 31-days. An adopted child or child placed with you for the purpose of adoption will be covered for 31-days from the date of adoption or placement. To continue the childs coverage You must send us written notice directing us to add the child or children to your coverage. We must receive this notice within the 31-days after the childs date of birth, adoption or placement. Any required additional premium must accompany your notice. If you do not send us the required notification and any additional premium, the childs coverage will end after the 31-days.
