Are negative calorie foods a myth?

0

No, certain foods take more to digest than calories they have in them.

This is ABSOLUTELY a myth. Ask any dietician or Dr. There are low calorie foods ( I think celery is 5 cal. per stalk) but there are no negative foods.

Well it’s not a myth but it’s kind of different than what people think it is. Every single food has calories, even celery. However, there are some foods that are harder to digest… so you’re body burns more calories digesting them than the food actually has in it. So lets say you eat 30 calories worth of celery, but your body works so hard to digest them that you burn 50 calories.

They are probably a myth. Everything either has calories or doesn’t have any. There can’t be any that have negative calories.
