Are Neck Tattoos Dangerous?
Most people have tattoos on the side or the back of the neck. Is this dangerous? It’s not dangerous, unless, of course, you go to an inexperienced tattoo artist. If getting a tattoo on the neck was dangerous no tattoo artist would perform them. The only ‘danger’ of getting a tattoo on the neck is that it may be painful for some people to handle. Before you get a tattoo, make sure you have a high tolerance for pain. If you get a neck tattoo, it may hurt you more than it would someone else. You may want to speak and interview tattoo artists before you make the decision to get a tattoo. Take time to think about it because once you get a tattoo you can’t take it off with rubbing alcohol or peroxide. Make sure you don’t have any allergies. If you do, you could have an allergic reaction to the ink. Speak to a tattoo artist and ask about the ink. What’s in it? What brand of ink is it? A professional tattoo artist will be more than willing to answer your questions. Don’t feel foolish about it
