I think so, or at least consumers should have some say in how they conduct business and the government should oversee that the company is charging a fair price for its goods or services. Monopolies aren’t inherently bad, they are when the balance of power shifts in favor of the company and the company uses its position unfairly to make big gains at the expense of its consumers. Microsoft is a monopoly, and their is a benefit in having one standard desktop OS and office suite, and that is compatibility.
