i have 2 kittens sorta like what you are going through when my first kitten was about 6 months old we went out and got him a friend and the two of them growled and hissed for a couple of weeks and now they are best friends i thought the big one was hurting the small one but it turned out they were just playing that is how they learn to well hunt if they were wild i hope this helps you
