Are multiplayer online games more compelling, more addictive?

Millions of gamers today are currently hooked to multiplayer online games. The most important reason being –
Majority of the players wants a competitive gaming experience and thanks to these games, gamers can compete with live players and not with a preset piece of code.
As all of us know it is very hard to predict a human behavior especially in gaming, this makes the multiplayer gaming even more challenging and interesting.
I am a big follower of multiplayer online games and play them at a number of portals.

Through the winter and into the spring, the 16-year-old high school student in Ipswich, Mass., played it more and more.
