Are mountain bikes allowed on land trust property?

0

Use of mountain bikes is permitted, but riders are restricted to existing marked trails and may not ride off-trail. No trails may be altered in any way and the construction of jumps or ramps for biking is prohibited. To minimize trail erosion, avoid riding in wet weather or after rain. To ensure the continued availability of land trust property to mountain bikes, remain on trails, avoid erosion-causing skidding and be courteous to others. Also, keep in mind that mountain bikes are prohibited from the blue-blazed trail system maintained by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association. Some trails on land trust property in North Guilford are part of the blue-blazed system.
